The conference will be held at the Fortezza da Basso, a XVI century fortress then part of the city walls. The fortress is within a stone's throw from Florence main train station (Santa Maria Novella) and has its own city rail stop in front (T1 line). Hotels are located nearby within the city center, most of them are small ones.
